The Apollo Eagles and E-gals each picked up dominant wins Friday as both soared over the Eagles of Ohio County.
In girls, Apollo won 8-1 with Kaelin Payne, Natalie Payne, Caroline Ashby, Maddie Wahl and Sophey Jennings all earned singles wins. Lauren Clements/Caitlyn Blandford, Natalie Estes/Marissa Shook and Maddie Jones/Emma Park all had doubles wins for the E-gals.
In boys, Apollo won 7-2 with Stetson Osborne, Nick Shannon, Evan Wilson, Jamison Franey and Noah Crider earning singles wins. Osborne/Luke Austin and Nick Shannon/Wilson had the doubles wins for AHS.
Owensboro v Cloverport
GIRLS: OHS 2, C 1
BOYS: OHS 2, C 1
Owensboro took on Cloverport Friday at Centre Court with the Red Devils and Lady Devils grabbing 2-1 victories.
Avery Elliot grabbed the singles win for the Lady Devils while Annie Iracane/Izzy Tipmore earned the victory in doubles for OHS.
On the boys side, Logan Veach won his singles match while E Hah/Arlo Johnson clinched the win in doubles.
