Thoroughbreds fall to Indy Express

The Owensboro Thoroughbreds were dealt their second loss of year Sunday at the Sportscenter when they fell to the Indy Express 111-97.

The Breds held a lead for nearly the entire first quarter but then the Express turned it up as their offense continued to get better throughout the game.

Owensboro’s 97 points are its lowest offensive output this season.

Corey Wilford led the way with 21 points while Chuckwama Ogbodo added 17 points. Javeion Eaves and Evan Milligan each added 11 points in the loss.

The Thoroughbreds play at Flint on Friday and then at Detroit on Saturday before returning to the Sportscenter May 14 to take on the Dayton Flight.
