Thoroughbreds grab second straight home win over United

The Owensboro Thoroughbreds bounced back from a slow first quarter, putting on an offensive showcase en route to a 129-114 victory.

The United were in charge after one, leading 27-18 on the backs of an eight-point quarter from Christopher Barton.

The Thoroughbreds were in full control throughout the rest of the game, scoring nearly 40 points every quarter, leading to their impressive victory over Flint.

Seven players finished in double figures for Owensboro, with Corey Wilford leading all scorers with 31 points. 

Javieon Eaves followed up his impressive 54-point performance against the Dayton Flight by putting up 24 points.

Jaire Grayer put up 26 points and Roger Hood put up 25 points, leading the way for the United.

The Thoroughbreds will return to action when they travel to Detroit, Michigan, when they take on the Detroit Hustle at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 11.
