Apollo Bowling defeated Owensboro High at Diamond Lanes South on Wednesday evening.
In the boys match Jack Whitesell led the way with games of 226 and 233, while Kaden Brown set a new personal best with a 244. The hot shooting Eagles won 6-1 over the Red Devils.
For the girls Apollo’s Rikki Overall returned to the lanes with a match high 177. Seventh grader Sophie O’Bryan set a new high of 143 as well, as Apollo won 6-1.
Apollo and OHS will both be on the road this Saturday, competing in the McCracken County Invitational Tournament at Paducah.
