Bowling posts strong showings at ISBPA Collegiate Classic

Competing in one of the largest bowling events of the year, the Kentucky Wesleyan Men’s and Women’s Bowling Teams posted strong showings, with the men finishing 58th out of 68 teams, while the women placed 23rd out of 58. 

On the men’s side, Wesleyan posted a total score of 8,148 pins. Dalton Karstens finished 121st with a five game score of 976, including a high of 215 in his fifth and final game. Evan Decker posted a total of 950 to come in 146th. Kelton Boyland finished in 287th with a four game total of 672, while Trent Stacy came in just one place back at 288th with a four game score of 670. Austin Vickers rounded out the scoring with a three game total of 570, including a very solid 210 in his second game. 

The KWC Women had a very strong showing, taking 23rd with a total score of 8,156 pins. Coryne Bean was phenominal all weekend, finishing in a tie for 38th out of 342 bowlers with a five game total of 982. She bowled a team high 231 in her fourth game. Alyssa Zombirt wasn’t far behind Bean, fnishing tied for 66th with a five game total of 950. Whitney Goodman came in 110th with a 906, while Lauren Meagher finished in a tie for 111th at 905. Emma Workman rounded out the scoring with a five game total of 831.
