Apollo vs. Ohio County

Apollo tennis had a strong day against Ohio County on Thursday, as the boys won 9-0 and the girls won 6-3 in their respective matches.

Stetson Osborne, Evan Wilson, Ben Austin, Jamison Franey and Jake Paxton all grabbed noticeable wins in singles on Thursday, while Maddox Tucker earned a 8-0 victory over his opponent.

The duos of Osborne and Wilson as well as Connor O’Bryan and Harvey Panuelo grabbed 8-4 wins in doubles, while the duo of Nee Kpaw and Taw Moo earned an 8-2 victory.

Erin McManus earned an 8-0 win for the E-gals singles, while Kaelin Payne, Vidhi Patel and Maddie Ebelhar also grabbed wins.

Losing two matches in singles and one in doubles, it was the duos of Maddie Jones and Emma Parker and Ella Hayden and Emmie Kate Williams that closed out a 6-3 victory for the E-gals.

Owensboro vs. Henderson County

The Lady Devils earned a 6-3 victory over Henderson County on Thursday, while Owensboro boys fell to the Colonels 6-3.

Owensboro girls tennis was strong in singles, getting wins from Whitley Ford, Addie Travis, Caroline Smith and Anna Travis. Meanwhile, Ford and Addie Travis and Smith and Anna Travis won their doubles matches 8-2.

Dylan Mather and Walker Gaddis were the lone boys singles winners for the Red Devils, while Mather and Gaddis also won their doubles match 8-3.

Owensboro Catholic vs. Madisonville-North Hopkins

Owensboro Catholic boys and girls tennis dominated on Thursday, both grabbing 9-0 wins over Madisonville-North Hopkins.

Cooper Danzer and Brett Conder both earned 8-0 wins in their singles matches, while William Brocato, Matthew Hyland, Tucker Ray and Patrick Hauke also earned wins.

Duos of Conder and Ray, Danzer and Brocato and Hauke and John Crawford Silvint all earned doubles victories for the Aces.

The Lady Aces showed out on the day, as Madisonville-North Hopkins was only able to win three sets between singles and doubles matches.
