Owensboro Catholic boys and girls tennis were on fire on Thursday, as they swept Moreland 9-0 and 8-1 respectively.
Brett Conder and Houston Danzer led the way for the Aces in the singles flight, grabbing 8-0 wins each. Cooper Danzer (8-1), Tucker Ray (8-2), Matthew Hyland (6-2, 6-1) and Davis Brocato (6-4, 6-3) completed the sweep in the singles matches.
They also won all three double matches, as the duos of Cooper Danzer/Houston Danzer (6-0/6-4), Conder/Ray (6-1, 6-0) and Patrick Hauke/John Crawford Silvert (8-6) rounded out the day.
The Lady Aces swept Moreland in singles, as Aisha Merchant and Ella Cason grabbed 8-0 and 6-0, 6-0, wins. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Hayden (8-4), Julia Marshall (8-4), Isabella Reisz (8-5) and Ella Grace Buckman (6-0, 6-1) rounded out the singles matches with wins.
Owensboro Catholic grabbed two wins in doubles as well, as the duos of Merchant/Olivia Hayden (6-1, 6-0) and Katelyn Mitchell/Claire Augenstein (6-0, 6-1) closed out the 8-1 victory.
