Local golfers showed out at the Pearl Club at the Summit on Monday, as Owensboro had multiple competitors grab top-three finishes.
On the boys side Colby Vanover continued a strong string of rounds by shooting a 46, ultimately grabbing first in the boys 11-12 nine-hole division while Andrew Powell followed right behind him with a 50.
In the 18-hole divisions for the boys Will Hume grabbed first in the 13-15 age division with an 84, while Walker Gaddis followed two spots behind with an 89. Jax Malone was one stroke away from first in the 16-18 age division, grabbing second with a 74.
It was the Billinglsey sisters that led the way on the girls side, as Briley grabbed first (30) in the six-hole 9-10 age division and Baylie grabbed first (95) in the 18-hole 13-15 age division. Kennedi Minton finished right behind Briley, shooting a 32 to grab second place.
Mary Ann Lyons had a strong showing in the 18-hole 16-18 age division, grabbing second with an 94. Rylie Hayden also grabbed a second-place finish, shooting a 71 in the nine-hole 11-2 age division, while Marley Braize rounded out the girls side of things by grabbing third (57) in the nine-hole 13-15 age division.
