Owensboro girls soccer wasn’t able to stifle Henderson County’s offense on Thursday, while the Lady Panthers grabbed a big win over Ohio County on the road.

Daviess County vs. Ohio County

Daviess County was able to snap Ohio County’s three-game winning streak on Thursday, grabbing a 2-1 win on the road.

The Lady Panthers were able to get off 14 shots on the night, with senior Brooke Schwartz and sophomore Lily Hoagland grabbing the pair of goals. Freshman Bailey Brown recorded the lone assist on the night, while junior Emily Baughn (six) and freshman Kaelin Labhart (four) combined for 10 saves in net.

Owensboro vs. Henderson County

The Lady Devils couldn’t muster up enough offense on Thursday, as Henderson County was firing on all cylinders in a 7-0 win.

Senior keeper Chandler Worth did her best in trying to keep the Lady Colonels off of the board, recording 13 saves on the night. Owensboro falls to 5-6 with the loss, as they will take the weekend to prepare for its final district game of the regular season against Owensboro Catholic at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
