The Red Devils closed out at 2-0, following up their district win over Owensboro Catholic with a dominant 10-0 showing against Grayson County on senior night.
Sophomore Ryan Sovar and junior Sang Thang led the way offensively, with both scoring two goals each, Thang getting two assists and Sovar dishing out one. Senior Aiden Frego, Jacob O’Bryan, junior Arlo Johnson, sophomore Romer Payne, senior Etienne Zuberi and junior Samuel Thawng all had goals in the game.
Frego also had a pair of assists in the game, while Payne and junior Peter Saang also tallied an assist each. Owensboro improves to 7-5-2 overall with the win, now taking a week off before hitting the road to take on Madisonville-North Hopkins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22.
