The Lady Raiders season came to a close on Wednesday, as they fell to Ohio County in the 3rd Region Semifinals 3-0 (25-17, 25-11, 25-20).
Trinity (Whitesville) struggled as a team offensively with 26 kills, with junior Hannah Nash’s 13 leading the way while senior Josie Aull assisted on 22 kills. Sophomore Caroline Hall (15) and senior Abby Payne (12) led the way defensively, combining for 27 of the team’s 45 digs.
The Lady Raiders fell just short of competing in the 3rd Region Championship for the second year in a row, finishing with an overall record of 28-8 while also grabbing their second straight 12th District Championship.
