Owensboro Catholic struggled offensively in the first, finding themselves down 18-7 at the end of the quarter. They still weren’t able to crack double digits in the second, but were able to limit Holy Cross to just nine points as well to make their deficit 27-16 going into halftime.
Coming out of the locker room the Lady Aces continued to chip away at the lead, outscoring Holy Cross 10-7 in the third to cut it to 34-26 going into the fourth.
