Daviess County and Owensboro Catholic both came away with commanding wins in this week’s district matchups. Catholic’s win today marks the 25th win in a row in district play for the Lady Aces. They are still undefeated in district play and are currently 5-0 after today’s win.

The Lady Panthers got the best of the E-gals today as they won 7-0. Lillian Coombs had the most goals with two. Also on the scoresheet were teammates Mary Evelyn Wiman with a goal and an assist, Kate McCain with a goal and assist, Molly Fuqua with a goal and Mackenzie Elliott had a goal.

The Lady Aces capped off their 25th win in a long streak of district victories with a 10-0 shutout against the Lady Red Devils. Ginny Young led the team with an impressive six goals and one assist. Also on the scoresheet were teammates Mallary Bailey with a goal and two assists, Elizabeth Hayden with a goal and two assists, Allie Marston with a goal and two assists and Aubrey Randolph with a goal. Meredith Taylor and Annie Helwig also had one assist each. Goalkeeper Abby Payne recorded her sixth shutout this season during the match.
