Trinity began their first day of competition in the All “A” State Tournament on a high note as they won both of their games against Kentucky Country Day 2-1 (27-29, 25-15, 25-18) and Walton-Verona 2-0 (25-14, 25-16).
Leading the scoring for the Lady Raiders was Hannah Nash who had 15 kills across both games as well as an ace, six digs and a block. Kenzie McDowell led in assists with 38 assists, three kills, one ace, 14 digs and two blocks. Caroline Hall led the team’s defense with 25 digs, six aces and five assists.
The Lady Raiders continue play at 9:15 a.m. tomorrow against Sayre.
