Apollo and Daviess County competed in the SOKY Slam in Allen County where Apollo were crowned Champions. Meanwhile, Owensboro Catholic competed in the wRECk @ The Plex in Hopkinsville and Trinity competed in a series of games Indiana Schools.
AHS
Apollo won it all at the SOKY Slam where they won all five of their matches to be crowned champions. Their victories were over Russell County 2-0 (25-16, 25-21), Franklin Simpson 2-0 (25-14, 25-14), Green County 2-1 (22-25, 25-14, 15-13), Allen County Scottsville 2-0 (25-19, 25-12) and Warren East 2-0 (25-22, 25-10).
The stat leaders across the tournament for the E-gals included Ahalia Ramirez with 109 assists, Jennifer Lee with 36 kills and Kelsey Dickinson with 60 digs.
DCHS
Daviess County won two games and lost two games. They won against Edmonson 2-0 (25-4, 25-15) and Warren Central 2-0 (25-15, 25-9), but they lost to North Hardin Classical 1-2 (23-25, 25-18, 15-12) and Campbellsville (20-25, 23-25). Individual stats are currently unavailable.
OCHS
Owensboro Catholic won four games and lost one in the wRECk @ The Plex. They won against Todd County 2-0 (25-19, 25-10), Muhlenberg 2-1 (25-20, 25-27, 15-8), Madisonville-North Hopkins 2-0 (25-12, 25-16) and East Robertson (Cross Plains) 2-0 (25-15, 25-16), and lost against University Heights 0-2 (23-25, 20-25).
The stat leaders for the Lady Aces included Tyranda Stuart with 35 kills, Kennedy Murphy had 119 assists and Karsen Tipmore had 40 digs.
THS
Trinity played in three matches and won 2-1 (19-25, 25-18, 15-9) against Jeffersonville (IN), but lost to Castle High School (IN) 0-2 (17-25, 7-25) and Terre Haute North (IN) 0-2 (24-26, 19-25).
The stat leaders for the day for the Lady Raiders included Hannah Nash with 27 kills, Kenzie McDowell with 42 assists and Caroline Hall with 19 digs.
