Daviess County swim grabbed their 4th consecutive overall win after they placed first in the Daviess Owensboro City-County Championships.
Daviess County- 278
DCHS placed 1st overall with a combined team score of 278. Their boys’ team placed first overall in the boys’ rankings with a score of 150. DC’s girls’ team placed second overall in the girls’ rankings with a score of 128. Key performances for DCHS included:
- Ryleigh Bevil: 1st place in 200 Yard IM and 1st in 100 Yard Breast. 1st in 200 Yard Free Relay and 200 Yard Medley Relay.
- Alaina Mason: 1st place in 200 Yard Free and the 100 Yard Back. 1st in 200 Yard Free Relay and the 200 Yard Medley Relay.
- Ellie Girten: 1st place in 50 Yard Free and 1st in 100 Yard Fly. 1st in 200 Yard Free Relay and the 200 Yard Medley Relay
- Emerick Randolph: 1st place in 200 Yard IM. 1st in 400 Yard Free Relay
- Alex Coomes: Diving: final score of 208.65
- Jackson Higdon: 1st place in 100 Yard Free.
Owensboro Catholic- 209
Owensboro Catholic placed 2nd overall with a combined team score of 209. Their girls’ team placed 1st in the girls’ ranking with a score of 131. The boys’ team placed 4th in the boys’ rankings with a score of 78. Key performances for OCHS included:
