Trinity is hosting the district 12 tournament, but they suffered an early exit after they were defeated by Edmonson County 11-1. With this game the Raiders’ season came to an end, and they finished with an overall record of 3-19.
Trinity started the game off strong as they scored 1 run to take an early lead. Edmonson then jumped ahead in the second inning with 5 runs to put the score at 5-1. THS held them scoreless in the third, but Edmonson extended their lead to 9-1 with 4 runs in the fourth. Edmonson scored 2 final runs in the sixth to close out the game at 11-1.
On the mound for the Raiders was Hayden Aull who had 1 strikeout and allowed 7 hits across 3.1 innings, and Carson Fitzgerald had 1 strikeout and allowed 4 hits across 2 innings. Aull had 1 RBI at the plate while Cale Boarman scored the lone run.
