Dec Lewko and Jaxon Blake each shot 39 to lead Hancock County to a win in a three-way boys’ golf match against Ohio and McLean counties.
The Hornet pair tied for second as individuals, with teammates Colby Keown and Jacob Shultz rounding out the Hancock scoring by shooting a 43 and 44, respectively.
“Today was one of those days that you just have to keep plugging along,” Hancock County head coach Jeff Shultz said. “The boys did just that and we were able to come away with the win.”
McLean County was led by Carter Weldon’s 45. Teammates Trayson Blades shot 51, while Ian Howard and Mason Howard each shot 61.
