Local high school dance teams compete at KHSAA State competition

The competitive dance teams for Apollo, Daviess County, and Owensboro Catholic competed at the KHSAA state competition over the weekend.

Competing in the Game Day division, Daviess County finished fourth with a score of 89.93, while DuPont Manual (94.03) was the overall winner. Owensboro Catholic (87.45) finished ninth in the divisions, while Apollo (86.70) was 11th.

The three schools also competed in the Hip Hop Small division, with Daviess County (89.48) finishing third, Apollo (83.85) eighth, and Owensboro Catholic (83.68) ninth. Russell won the division with a score of 90.60.
