OT is excited to announce the remaining finalists for our Owensboro Times Sports Awards, a ceremony we’re hosting on May 4. More than three dozen awards will be given to high school student-athletes and coaches for achievements in the 2024-25 seasons. Here’s a look at the finalists in each sport, plus information on how to RSVP or reserve tickets if you haven’t already.

Attendees are asked to RSVP. All finalists (listed below) will be admitted free, while tickets for guests cost $10 each. Invitations with specific RSVP/ticket instructions have been sent to all finalists, one of their parents, and/or their coach. Any finalists, parents, and/or coaches who did not receive the invitation but believe they should have are asked to email [email protected].

Owensboro Community & Technical College is the presenting sponsor for The OT Sports Awards, with Owensboro Health serving as the Champion Sponsor. A special thanks also goes to Laser Beam Studio, Balloons by Syd, Beef ‘O’Brady’s, Azzip Pizza, Academy Sports & Outdoors, and Sweet B’s Bakery.

Only teams participating in a KHSAA-governed sport are considered for the OTs, meaning club and travel teams are not eligible.
