Panthers bowling wins weekend double header

Over the weekend at Southern Lanes, Daviess County bowling competed in a double header, with the boys’ team beating both McCracken County and Graves County 6-1. Against McCracken County, the Panthers won by 362 pins, with Brandon Hall leading the way (235, 244). Evan Onstott (194, 202), Kason Smith (226, 212), Jaxson Unsel (225, 189), and Alec Jones (191, 191) all had strong performances.

Daviess County’s coed team fell 7-0, but Damon Brooks rolled a new personal best 210. Some standout game performances included Nolan Ward (155, 211), Daphne Edwards (94), Fayth Brown (108), Blake Vanover (121, 136), Hilton Abdon 133, Gabe Evans (169, 146), and Preston Peachee (123).

In their win over Grayson County, Hall (231, 233), Unsel (233, 196), Smith (215), Jones (246, 213), and Milan Ferguson (191) all had standout games.

The coed team lost 6-1, but they rolled a new high score of 178 in one of the baker games. Fayth Brown (123, 105), Levi Davenport (141), Gabe Evans (145), Daphne Edwards (74, 87), Damon Brooks (195, 159), and Nolan Ward (169, 163) all led the way.
