Owensboro High School senior running back Evan Hampton has signed a one-day NIL deal with Wonder Whip that will double as a fundraiser for OHS athletics. Hampton will join Wonder Whip’s Frederica Street location on Monday from 1-4 p.m. to greet guests and serve customers alongside employees.

As part of the event, Wonder Whip announced it will offer a special $5 soft-serve cone called the “Twisted Devil” — vanilla ice cream twisted with cherry Dole Whip on an Oreo cone — with 100% of each one sold benefiting OHS athletics.

“This is a good opportunity to raise money for the athletic department,” Hampton said. “I’m looking forward to it, and I am super excited to represent Owensboro High School.”

The event comes during a busy December for Hampton, who recently helped lead Owensboro to the 5A state championship and was named Kentucky Mr. Football and the 2025 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year.

“Evan is leaving soon to begin his journey as a student-athlete at Vanderbilt University,” the Facebook post from Wonder Whip reads. “Evan’s hard work, determination, and leadership on and off the football field have helped OHS football achieve new heights and earned him numerous individual awards … Please consider stopping by on Monday afternoon to congratulate him on his achievements and help raise some money for Owensboro High School.”
