“Breckinridge County is a very talented team, and you must be consistent for four quarters to compete with them,” Daviess County Head Coach Natalie Payne said. “You can’t have mental lapses, and you can’t turn the ball over, because they will go on 12-0 runs. …It’s early, but we will continue to get better and hopefully be playing our best basketball at the right time.”
Hancock County 70, Cloverport 20
Madyson Higdon recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Carolina Jones scored 14 points in the Lady Hornets’ 70-20 win over Cloverport. Ansley House added 12 points, and Jaylee Johnson scored eight points.
