Hancock County and Trinity (Whitesville) shut out Owensboro and McLean County in important 3rd Region matches, while Apollo and Owensboro Catholic both lost.

Henderson County 1, Apollo 0

It was a heartbreaking night for the E-Gals, as they were walked off by Henderson Cunty in the bottom of the ninth. They had no answer for Kamyrn Timmons, who threw a no-hitter while striking out 18. Mollie Julian was just as dominant on the mound, allowing one unearned run while striking out 12.

Hancock County 8, Owensboro 0

Bella Brynat was untouchable on the mound, allowing only two hits and striking out nine to fuel the Lady Hornets past Owensboro 8-0. Aubree Mosby and Madyson Higdon combined for three hits and five RBIs, while Audrey Carnes and Gracie Gaynor both drove in a run.

For the Lady Devils, Riley Scott threw a complete game, allowing three earned runs over seven innings, striking out three. Hayley Sikes went 2-3, while Ayrish Barksdale and Sydney Stallings both drew a walk.

Trinity (Whitesville) 21, McLean County 0

Avary Emmick and Emersyn Beyke each homered and combined for six hits and seven RBIs to power the Lady Raiders past McLean County 21-0. Kendall Howard, Ella Morris, and Michaela Knight all had three hits apiece, while Sadie Morris drove in a pair of runs. Morris threw a complete game shutout on the mound, striking out nine over four innings.

For the Lady Cougars, Emma Lou Crabtree and Kyra Nichols had the team’s lone hits.

Ohio County 2, Owensboro Catholic 1

Trailing Ohio County in the bottom of the fifth, the Lady Aces loaded the bases, but were unable to capitalize, falling 2-1. Lily Logsdon went 2-4, while Carley Brey, Anna Beth Hamilton, and Addilyn Simmons each had a hit. Ava Mudd threw a complete game, allowing two runs over seven innings, striking out six.
