The Lady Panthers exploded for 13 runs in the first inning, as they took down Apollo 17-0. Storey Hume went 1-2 with three RBIs, while Kylie Clark, Annie Newman, Callie Smith, and Briley Henry combined for eight hits and eight RBIs. Hume threw three perfect innings on the mound, striking out three.
Muhlenberg County 6, Owensboro 2
Trailing 4-0, Owensboro cut the lead to 4-2, but were unable to complete the comeback, losing to Muhlenberg County 6-2. Railey Scott and Ella Hall both drove in runs, while Sydney Stallings, Ayrish Barksdale, Hayley Sikes, and Reese Richards all had hits. Scott threw a complete game in the circle, striking out five over 5 2/3 innings.
