Last night, Hancock County split with Apollo, while on Monday evening, the Lady Aces won a thriller over the E-Gals.
Hancock County splits with Apollo
In a tight back-and-forth match, Hancock County’s boys team took down Apollo 8-1, while the E-Gals beat the Lady Hornets 5-0. For the Hornets, Lukas Anderson, Caleb Ewing, Tyce Boling, Payne Pence, and Van Reska all won their singles matches, while the doubles teams of Anderson and Ewing, Boling and Pence, and Reska and Matthias Herrmann all came out on top.
The E-Gals swept the girls’ match 5-0 behind the singles play of Erin McManus, Layla Parker, and Ella Bel and the doubles teams of Madison Ebelhar and Adelyn Dilback, and Scout Carroll and Morgan Shook.

On Monday evening, the Lady Aces narrowly defeated Apollo 5-4 behind the singles play of Madison Clark, Lexi Moyers, Gabi Moyers, and Sophia Merchant, and the doubles team of Clark and Meredith Traylor. For the E-Gals, Ruthie Layson and Madison Ebelhar both won their singles matches, while the doubles teams of Madison Ebelhar and Adelyn Dilback, and Scout Carroll and Morgan Shook came out on top.
