Daviess County took down Owensboro Catholic in an important 9th District game, while Apollo, Hancock County, and Trinity (Whitesville) all won. In other action, McLean County lost to Hopkins County Central.

Apollo 5, Butler County 4

The E-Gals offense exploded for five runs in the top of the sixth as they held off Butler County 5-4. Annsley Hall and Mollie Julian both drove in a pair of runs, Emersyn Bullington went 2-4 with an RBI, and Arianna Ramirez finished 4-4. Hannah Holder threw a complete game in the circle, allowing four runs over seven innings, while striking out four.

Daviess County 12, Owensboro Catholic 2

The Lady Panthers offense belted three homers as they beat the Lady Aces 12-2. Annie Newman went 2-3 with four RBI and a homer, while Brylyn Boswell and Lilah Morris combined for four hits and four RBIs. Storey Hume started in the circle, striking out six over four shutout innings, while Sadie Beauchamp pitched in relief.

For the Lady Aces, Addilyn Simmons went 2-2 with two RBIs, while Lily Logsdon, Emma Riney, and Raegan Leach all had hits.

Hancock County 10, Ohio County 0

Gracie Gaynor finished 2-4 with a homer and three RBIs as the Lady Hornets shutout Ohio County 10-0. Aubree Mosby went 2-3 with three RBIs, and Ryleigh French drove in a run and walked three times. Gaynor threw a complete game in the circle, striking out five over five shutout innings.

Hopkins County Central 8, McLean County 2

Kyra Nichols went 3-3 with an RBI as the Lady Cougars fell to Hopkins County Central 8-2. Ava McCarty went 1-3 and Emily Howard scored a run and walked twice. McCarty struck out four over three innings, while Maci Geel pitched three innings in relief.

Trinity (Whitesville) 10, Edmonson County 0

The Lady Raiders scored five runs in the top of the third as they went on to shutout Edmonson County 10-0. Sadie Morris went 3-4 with four RBIs, Kendall Howard went 2-3 with a homer, and Michaela Knight finished 4-4 with an RBI. Ella Morris threw a complete game shutout, allowing only two hits and striking out nine over six innings.
