OPD: 1 arrested after Monday shooting incident with 1 victim

An adult male has been arrested for a shooting in the 500 block of Crittenden Street that left one victim with a single gunshot wound, according to the Owensboro Police Department.

Daniel B. Jackson, 59 of Owensboro, is facing a first-degree assault charge for the incident.

According to a release, at 3:21 p.m. OPD reported to the scene and said that they located an adult male with a single gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. His injury is believed to be a non-life-threatening injury.

The shooting resulted from a dispute between neighbors, according to OPD.
