For the first time since March 13, 2020, there are no COVID-19 positive patients in Owensboro Health hospitals, officials announced Friday.
“In our lifetime, there has never been a challenge like COVID-19,” OH officials wrote in a social media post. “Our doctors and team members have risen to meet that challenge for more than two years. As we celebrate this milestone, we thank each team member for your willingness to adapt, your resolve to heal our community and your bravery through unprecedented times.”
On April 18, Owensboro Health again updated their visitor policy, with the most recent change including now allowing two visitors for outpatient procedures. These visitors do not have to remain the same.
The only area in the hospital that requires two designated visitors to remain the same through the patient’s stay is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
