Athletic Director Sarah Gayler has announced the hiring of Jaylin Tidwell as Brescia Athletics’ Sports Information Director. Tidwell is a native of Evansville, Ind. where she graduated from Harrison High School in 2016. She then moved forward to attend Kentucky Wesleyan College where she became a four-year starter on the softball team.
Jaylin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fitness and Sports Management from KWC. After finishing her undergraduate, she attended Spalding University in Louisville, Ky. to earn her master’s in Business Communications. While earning her master’s, Jaylin stood in as the interim sports information director at Spalding. She oversaw all home athletic events in which included 16 varsity athletic programs as well as social media, statistics, graphic design, web content, and strategic communications.
“I look forward to getting the opportunity to be the first SID at Brescia University. Having such an important role at such a young age is extremely humbling and exciting. I cannot wait to get started with my colleagues and duties as the new head sports information director.”
