Trinity (Whitesville) volleyball grabbed its fourth straight 3-0 sweep on Saturday, while Owensboro Catholic went 1-1 on the road against Todd County Central and Caldwell County.

The Lady Aces split a road doubleheader on Saturday, getting swept by Todd County Central before sweeping Caldwell County in the following match.
Owensboro Catholic were able to eclipse the 20-point mark in the first and third set, but ultimately fell to the Lady Rebels 21-25, 18-25, 24-26.
The Lady Aces were able to flip things around against the Lady Tigers, grabbing a 25-20 win in the first set before grabbing commanding 25-12 and 25-18 wins in the second and third set to complete the sweep.
Senior Abigail Williams led the way offensively with 18 kills, while sophomore Olivia Castlen added 13 and junior Blair Riney chipped in 11. Senior Emily Christian led the way defensively with 48 digs, with Riney adding 27, junior Karsen Tipmore adding 24, senior Kennedy Murphy adding 19, junior Isabelle Reisz adding 14 and Williams adding 11.
Owensboro Catholic was able to grab 36 blocks as a team, with Castlen leading the way with 14 blocks. While Murphy played a big part defensively, she also helped orchestrate the offense with 40 assists.
The Lady Aces moved to 2-3 overall after the split doubleheader, as they will now take a few days off before hitting the road to take on Ohio County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Trinity (Whitesville) vs. Muhlenberg County
The Lady Raiders stayed hot on Saturday, grabbing another sweep to close out the week by defeating Muhlenberg County 3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-16).
Junior Hannah Nash led the way offensively with 10 kills, while sophomore Addison Mills added six and sophomore Kenzie McDowell added four. Senior Josie Aull helped direct the offense, leading the team with 20 assists.
Sophomore Caroline Hall led the charge defensively with 17 digs, while junior Georgia Howard added six digs, while Nash, Aull and senior Abby Payne all tallied five digs each.
Trinity (Whitesville) sits at 8-3 overall with the win, as they will look to extend their five-game winning streak against Butler County on the road at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
