Local high school girls golf teams competed in a home match at Ben Hawes Golf Course on Tuesday, as Owensboro Catholic narrowly defeated Daviess County.
The Lady Aces shot a 263 to secure first place, as they were led by Hannah Robbins 47. Conleigh Osborne placed second on the team with a 50, while RC Porter, Lanie Ann Osborne and Chloe Calitri all shot a 54.
The Lady Panthers were led by Claire Reynolds, as she posted the highest score of the day with a 37. Baylie Billingsley followed with a 42, while AnnaLee Yager shot a 48 and Sophie Ng and Leah Coppick shot a 67 and 71 respectively to close out their top five.
Owensboro and Apollo both had individual competitors, as Mary Ann Lyons shot a 43 for the E-gals and Ellie Watson and Ryann Kasey both shot a 58 for the Lady Devils.
