Asphalt resurfacing on the south end of Frederica Street will begin this Sunday night. In addition to base failures, the contractor will address middle turn lanes and median areas as well as off/on ramps at U.S. 60 (the bypass) onto Frederica Street.
Work will begin at the north end of Panther Creek Bridge, extending north to the U.S. 60 overpass.
Paving operations will begin September 18 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., and the contractor plans to address all paving operations at night.
The work is scheduled to last approximately 2-3 weeks.
Motorists are advised to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the work zone.
