The E-gals volleyball team had its three-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday, falling to University Heights 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-21, 25-17).
Sophomore Ava Fazio and junior Jennifer Lee led the way in kills with 14 and 11 respectively, while junior Ahalia Ramirez dished out a team-leading 34 assists. Defensively Apollo struggled, recording just 15 blocks and 16 digs on the day.
The E-gals fall to 19-14 overall with the loss, as they will now take a couple days off before a weekend doubleheader against Hancock County and Breckinridge County at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
