Trinity (Whitesville) couldn’t muster up enough offense on the road Friday night, losing their fifth straight in a 59-28 loss to Butler County.
The Lady Raiders got off to a rocky start as they were held to single digits in the first and second quarter, as they went into halftime trailing 26-13. Trinity’s luck didn’t change in the second half, as a 24-point third quarter ultimately led to the Lady Bears outscoring Trinity 33-15 en route to a 59-28 loss.
The Lady Raiders fall to 0-5 to start the season, now turning their attention to another road matchup on Saturday against Ohio County at 2 p.m.
