The Lady Panthers and E-gals were unable to get stops in their respective losses on Tuesday night, falling to McCracken County and Meade County.
Daviess County vs. McCracken County
Senior Adylan Ayer and sophomore Zoey Beehn were the only players to finish in double figures for the Lady Panthers on Tuesday night, as Daviess County was never able to score in double digits in any quarter of a 63-32 home loss to McCracken County.
Ayer and Beehn both had 12 points each for the Lady Panthers in the contest, as no other player was able to score more than two. Seniors Destiny Thomas and Caroline Sivills had 14 each to lead the way for the Lady Mustangs, while Mikee Buchanan added 10.
Daviess County’s losing streak extends to three games with the loss, as they will look to bounce back in a tough district matchup against Owensboro Catholic at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Apollo vs. Meade County
The E-gals had no answer for Meade County defensively on Tuesday night, falling in the 2022 3rd Region Semifinal rematch 81-42.
Freshman Kennedy Lane and sophomore Heleina John were the only Apollo players in double figures with 14 and 10 points respectively, while sophomore Peyton Bradley led all scorers with 28 points to lead the Lady Waves.
The E-gals fall to 1-5 with their second straight loss, as they will look to bounce back in a home district matchup with Owensboro at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
