Boys’ cross-country recap (Sept. 16): AHS, DCHS, OCHS, GCA

The Mustang Stampede in Muhlenberg saw Daviess County and Apollo take home gold and silver respectively. 

DCHS- 54

Daviess County finished first overall with a score of 54 and an average time of 16:47. The Panthers had two runners place in the top five individually. The top runners for DCHS include: 

  • Brayden Kaelin- 3rd place: 16:07.51
  • Asher Alvey- 5th place: 16:24.65
  • Aidan Taylor- 14th place: 16:54.83

AHS- 108

Apollo finished second overall with a score of 108 and an average time of 17:22. The Eagles had two runners place in the top 10 individually. The top runners for AHS include:

  • Emmitt Brock- 4th place: 16:12.34
  • Noah Gray- 7th place: 16:30.85
  • Josh Thomas- 16th place: 17:10.23

OCHS- 322

Owensboro Catholic finished 12th overall with a score of 322 and an average time of 19:43. The top runners for the Aces include:

  • Ben Booker- 61st place: 19:23.18
  • Nolan Murphy- 62nd place: 19:24.00
  • Spencer Harris- 63rd place: 19:26.90

GCA- 422

Grace Christian Academy finished in 16th place with a score of 422 and an average time of 21:26. The top runners for GCA include:

  • Jonathan Dechman- 54th place: 18:51.01
  • Joseph Baker- 86th place: 20:31.59
  • Jordan Norris- 110th place: 21:19.32
