Apollo and Daviess County both picked up wins while Catholic and Owensboro suffered defeats. Owensboro has a new all-time goal scorer across both boys’ and girls’ soccer in Sydney Lovett after their match. Lovett has 63 goals for the school, beating the previous record of 62 held by Austin Black who played from 2011-2014.
AHS 1, Warren Central 0
The E-gals bested Warren Central 1-0. Kara Green scored the lone goal from an assist by Dalleigh Sullivan. Goalkeeper Ashton Leigh recorded another clean sheet for this match.
DCHS 3, OCHS 1
The Lady Panthers beat the Lady Aces 3-1 in the final district match of the season.
On the scoresheet for DCHS were Kate McCain, Mary Evelyn Wiman and Molly Fuqua. Madison Purcell had an assist during the match as well.

The Lady Red Devils lost 2-3 to Warren East. Lovett scored her record-breaking goal first before assisting on Georgia Warren’s goal. Goalkeeper Emma Wilkins recorded eight saves during the match.
