The Trail of Treats returns to downtown Owensboro tonight with more than 70 booths expected to participate. Here’s what to know about the time of the event, parking, and street closures.
The family-friendly event will run from 5:30–8 p.m., with booths lining the sidewalks of several streets. Families can also enjoy music and meet-and-greets with some favorite characters.
Crews will begin closing streets at 2 p.m., with closures including:
- West 2nd Street and Veterans Boulevard, from Daviess Street to Frederica Street
- Allen, St. Ann, and Frederica Streets, from West 2nd Street to Veterans Boulevard
Street parking will be available on surrounding streets, and both parking garages (2nd and Locust, and Allen Street) will be available.
“We are looking forward to the return of the annual Trail of Treats event downtown this fall,” Director of Public Events Tim Ross previously said. “We had a tremendous turnout in 2022, and we anticipate the same large crowd this year.”
