Apollo lost 57-41 at home against Greenwood after leading in the first quarter but fell behind and struggled to catch back up. At the end of the first quarter, the E-gals held a 9-2 lead. Greenwood then took the lead in the second quarter after outsourcing Apollo 20-5 in the quarter. AHS struggled to close the gap and Greenwood held their lead for the second half to win 57-41.
Leading the E-gals in scoring was Jennifer Lee and Jenna Dant with 16 points each. The two almost had double-doubles as Lee had 9 rebounds and Dant had 8.
