Owensboro Municipal Utilities and the City of Owensboro have crowned Jeremy and Jessica Kennedy as the winners of the 2023 lighting contest.
The Kennedys’ display included music that was synchronized with a light show.
The winners were chosen by a secret panel of judges, according to OMU General Manager Tim Lyons. He said there were about 10 entries in this year’s contest.
As the winner, the Kennedys received the Golden Santa Award, a $250 OMU gift certificate, a $100 gift certificate to a local restaurant, and a lighted yard sign.
For those wishing to see the display, the homeowners live on the 2100 block of Carpenter Drive.
