Owensboro native Candace Olusola to speak at KWC’s MLK Day Celebration

Owensboro native Candace Olusola will be the featured speaker at Kentucky Wesleyan College’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration, which includes a march down Frederica Street.

The event will be held on January 15. It kicks off at 9 a.m. with a march from Owensboro High School to KWC’s Jack Wells Activity Center at 3300 Frederica Street. Refreshments will be available from 9:30-10 a.m., and the program will begin at 10 a.m.

Olusola is a certified life coach, public speaker, and host of the podcast “First Paso.” She brings a holistic approach to personal and professional growth, and her coaching is aimed at empowering and inspiring people to navigate life’s challenges, discover their true potential, and cultivate a sense of purpose.
