Beginning this Fall, Brescia University will offer a Master of Science in Information Systems degree online, with Dr. Jonathan Abramson as the program’s director.

The program is still pending approval online from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the Council on Postsecondary Education. Abramson said the Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) will prepare students for modern information processes.

“Graduates will be able to adapt to the rapidly evolving technological landscape by engaging in continuous learning and professional development, staying current with emerging trends and best practices in the field of information systems,” Abramson said.

The online degree is structured to accommodate students’ working schedules. The core curriculum comprises six foundational courses covering key concepts and principles in information systems.

Students can further specialize in one of three concentrations: Information Security, Data Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence, each consisting of three courses tailored to develop in-depth expertise in the chosen area.

“Brescia University is excited to play a role in providing remote pathways for students to complete their Master of Science in Information Systems while balancing family and work responsibilities,” said executive director of operations for BUonline Shanda Larue. “The MSIS pathway will assist students in contributing to the rapidly evolving world of technology and Artificial Intelligence.”
