“Grab-a-Bag” job fairs will be held in Hancock, Daviess, and Henderson counties this week. Job seekers can drop in any time during the job fair to pick up a bag filled with information about local job openings and employers, as well as community career resources.
The events are being hosted by the Green River Area Development District (GRADD), Equus Workforce Solutions, and Kentucky Career Center in partnership with the Kentucky Library Association.
“The Grab-a-Bag job fairs are designed to give people the opportunity to browse information and apply for positions in their own time,” said GRADD Director of Workforce Development Michelle Drake. “It is definitely a convenient option for anyone looking for a new career.”
The times and locations of the job fairs are as follows:
Hancock County – April 9 from 12-4 p.m.
- Hancock County Public Library – Lewisport Branch (400 2nd Street, Lewisport)
- Hancock County Public Library – Hawesville Branch (1210 Madison Street, Hawesville)
- Hancock County Career Center (1605 US 60, Hawesville)
Daviess County – April 10 from 2-6 p.m.
- Daviess County Public Library (2020 Frederica Street, Owensboro)
Henderson County – April 11 from 2-6 p.m.
- Henderson County Public Library (101 South Main Street, Henderson)
