Maurice Watkins, 48, of Owensboro, was arrested by the Henderson Police Department (HPD) in relation to an armed robbery in Henderson Tuesday afternoon, the agency reports.
At roughly 12:35 p.m., HPD responded to Cricket Wireless on 2640 US Hwy 41 N in Henderson after an armed robbery.
The department reports that after a couple of hours, Watkins was taken into custody with the help of the Hopkinsville Police Department, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and Owensboro Police Department.
Watkins is now held in Daviess County Detention Center and is facing the following charge in Henderson:
- Robbery, 1st Degree
HPD reports Watkins is also facing additional Robbery charges in other counties.
