The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to make progress in the effort to take down drug trafficking operations taking place at area hotels and motels. DCSO announced three more people have been arrested following an investigation regarding an operation at the Cadillac Motel.
According to a release, on April 18 DCSO Special Investigations Unit Detectives conducted an operation at the Cadillac Motel on West 2nd Street after conducting numerous undercover controlled buys of narcotics from a resident of the motel.
“While speaking to the suspect in their room prior to their arrest, detectives saw drugs and paraphernalia lying on a table and in other areas of the room,” DCSO said in a release. “Other subjects who were present in the room were arrested for their role in drug trafficking at the Cadillac Motel as well. Detectives also observed one of the suspects attempting to hide suspected methamphetamine under the couch while they were in the room.”
