Mac McAnally coming to Beaver Dam with special guest Scotty Emerick

Mac MaAnally — a longtime member of Jimmy Buffet’s backing band, the Coral Reefer Band — is headlining a concert in at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater this September, with special guest Scotty Emerick.

“September 1, 2023, is a sad day the music world will never forget — the day we lost Jimmy Buffet,” said Heath Eric, Promoter with The Eric Group. “Earlier this year, on February 5, 2024, the music world seemed to stand still again when we lost Toby Keith. On the 1-year anniversary of Jimmy Buffet’s passing, September 1, 2024, we hope to give Parrot Heads, Toby Keith fans, Mac McAnally fans, Scotty Emerick fans, Merle Haggard Fans, the list goes on and on … a night the fans will never forget. This extraordinary evening will be filled with ‘Margaritas & Memories’ and ‘DAM Good Times.’ Fans will get to sing along to their favorite songs all night long.”  

Record-setting 10-time CMA Musician of the Year, McAnally is an inductee into the Nashville Songwriters, Mississippi Musicians, and Alabama Music halls of fame. For nearly 30 years, he wrote, toured, and performed with Jimmy Buffett as a member of The Coral Reefer Band. 

The renowned songwriter, singer, and instrumentalist has written dozens of hit records for other artists, several of which peaked at No. 1. His own recording career began with his debut hit single “It’s A Crazy World” and has grown to 14 album releases. He has written hits for Alabama, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, and Sawyer Brown, as well as studio credits, including albums by Toby Keith, Linda Ronstadt, George Strait, and Dolly Parton.

Scotty Emerick is a singer/songwriter of many No. 1 hits who has written songs and toured with artists as varied as Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Jimmy Buffett. He has earned NSAI’s Songwriter of the Year award and Best Country Song Grammy and CMA nominations.
