The Owensboro Art Guild is holding its 5th Annual Plein Air Art event at the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden on June 1. Visitors will be able to visit the garden at no charge as they watch artists paint throughout the Garden’s space.
The entry fee for the competition is $25, but artists under age 18 can participate free of charge. The Guild will present $1,100 in cash awards.

Admission to the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden is free on the first Saturday of each month and opens to the public at 9 a.m. Many artists will start painting at 7 a.m.
The artwork will be available for purchase following the award presentation at approximately 3 p.m.
