Two people have been arrested after meth, pills, suspected heroin, and other items related to drug trafficking were located during the execution of a search warrant at a “one-stop shop” on East 5th Street, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a release, DCSO and Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant on Wednesday in the 800 block of East 5th Street.

“The target of the search warrant, Kelly Ray Prather, was not at home at the time,” the release says. “Prather was located by detectives at a local business and brought to his residence. The search warrant was obtained by detectives in response to complaints of an ongoing drug trafficking operation taking place within the residence.”

According to the release, evidence located during the search included methamphetamine, five sets of digital scales with residue, small baggies, glass pipes with residue, different size baggies used to package narcotics, several types of pills (Hydrocodone pills, Seroquel pills, Tramadol pills, Amphetamine pills, and Clonazepam pill), suspected heroin, an unidentified white powder, marijuana, banking information, and a drug ledger.

“All items located inside the residence are indicative of an ongoing drug trafficking operation commonly known as a ‘one-stop shop.’ Consent was also obtained from Prather for his locker at the local business which contained trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, Clonazepam pills, and Hydrocodone pills,” the release says.

All evidence was seized and logged into evidence by DCSO.
