Sarah Payne led the team with 21 digs in the Lady Raiders 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, 25-19) sweep over Edmonson County. Kenzie McDowell, Emily McDaniel, and Caroline Hall led the team in assists, kills, and service aces with 18, nine, and four respectively.
“It really is a team effort,” Trinity head coach Brooke Hall said. “We preach it over and over again. With every game, we learn something about ourselves and learn about our opportunities for growth. We use that to challenge ourselves and set goals for what kind of team we want to be and use that as our focus toward the next game.”
Grayson County 3, McLean County 0
Addy Kibry finished with four kills and three assists and Abbi Shivers added three assists, three digs, and one kill in the Lady Cougars 3-0 (25-6, 25-8, 25-16) loss to Grayson County. Rachel Roberts, Jaycee Hedges, and Rachel Ring all added a kill.
